I still can’t believe that you have gone. So many memories of our time together at Deanwood, the laughter that got us through some challenging times, the residential with year six where I laughed so much that my stomach hurt and the time you were reading to the class and you couldn’t pronounce the word mauve ( I never did let you live that one down) so that’s why I chose the background colour for my candle for you. You were a true inspiration to so many and I know that all the children that you have taught over the years and all the adults that were privileged to have worked with you will never forget you.
This candle was first lit on the 20th of March 2023 and will burn for 98 years 2 months and 14 days.
